Almost all organic materials can be used as untraditional sourse of energy. Through the conditional short time the organic ...
Our production is produced by biogas company which was established in 1995. The company has since built a large number of farm and communal biogas plants both in Denmark and abroad. The company also produces and sales the diverse reinforced concrete products for the European market.

What is biogas?

Biogas is composed of two gases, methane and carbon dioxide. Biogas is generated by a biological process that starts when organic material is heated in an oxygen free environment. Normally, biomass is heated to approx. 38 C or 52 C. Methane has the same calorific value as natural gas and can be burned in a boiler or used as a propellant in gas engines.

What are the benefits of biogas production?

Biogas is a renewable and carbon neutral energy. The burning of biogas releases no fossil carbons as in the burning of coal, oil and natural gas. Methane and nitrous oxide are major green house gasses. They are collected during the process and exploited. Biogas is the cheapest way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
At the moment only approx.  5 % of livestock manure is being exploited in biogas production and the current total biogas production is now 4 PJ. In Sweden and Germany as well as in many other countries around the world, Biogas is being upgraded to natural gas quality and / or is being used as a propellant in the transport sector.

Why build a biogas plant?

There are two primary reasons for building a biogas plant. Firstly, it is of benefit to exploit the energy that lies within the organic biomass. Secondly, there are series of advantages to be gained by treating manure in a biogas plant.
